Grun Dara is a traveling orc mage who pursues the goal of surpassing his father/teacher and mastering all elements in the magical arts. Originally born into a tribe of orcs locked into a fierce war between a neighboring tribe.His mother, who was on the run, saw no other option but to place her son under the care of one of her most trustworthy friends. That friend being an old human mage, named Norman Dara. Norman, who was under Grun’s mother’s debt, would adopt the child as his own.He would raise Grun to be more reliant on his intellect than using rash brute force like most of his kind. Grun would quickly adapt to his adopted father's teachings, mastering more complex spells with ease.
As the old mage fell ill, he would ask Grun to seek an ancient tome.This tome, was said to hold all the secrets of the magical arts, granting its owner unmatched control of the elements.
